I can't believe that February is now ending and that it is the beginning of March tomorrow, the year is just flying by! Here are my February favourites ..

Boots Vitamin E Eye Cream: I wanted to get into using eye cream but didn't want to splash out first time. I use this morning and night and it leaves my under eyes feeling smooth and ready to apply concealer. Which leads me onto my next favourite..

Bobbi Brown Corrector: I used to use this a while ago and then when I ran out I didn't repurchase it until last month. I really like this because it covers my horrendous dark circles and then I apply a little concealer over the top.

Mac Up The Amp Lipstick: I don't really know what to say about this other than I have been wearing this lipstick to death and I just love it and the colour is amazing.

Topshop 'Blue on Blue' Nail Varnish: This is metallic blue nail varnish and although you need about 3 coats it is gorgeous.

Timotei Brilliant Repair Shampoo & Conditioner: These were £1 each I believe in Asda and they are good for the price. The last time I used Timotei I was little and it was the original shampoo and conditioner and I'm glad I've started using this brand after many many years. I decided to get the Brilliant Repair for dry or damaged hair as my hair can get very dry and they smell like coconut which is great for me! They leave my hair feeling really soft.

Soap & Glory 'The Scrub of Your Life': This is a body scrub that is in a gel form with lots of micro beads in. You just step out the shower, lather and buff this all over and then of course rinse off. It really smooths out my skin and it smells amazing.

The Body Shop Chocomania Shower Cream: It's a shower cream that smells like chocolate, what more could you ask for.

Remington Pearl Curling Wand: Whenever I'm going out and it's worth doing my hair, this is what I've been using. I creates tightish curls but I brush them out a bit and it looks really nice.

Paper Towns by John Green: I think John Green is a fabulous author. I've already read The Fault In Our Stars and loved it. When I finished the previous book I was reading I wanted to go back to John Green and had read reviews on this book and everyone loved it. I'm really liking it so far and am really getting into it.

That's all for my February favourites, what are yours for this month?

As it was my birthday two weeks ago, one of my presents was a new tattoo. I went to Studio XIII in Edinburgh and had it done by Marc Diamond. I go here because the artists are amazing and the people are really friendly there. I decided a while ago that I wanted a pink/lavender old school type rose on my forearm. I already have a Grosbeak bird tattoo on my front forearm so I thought they would go well together.

The pain wasn't too bad, it was tolerable, I always find the outline is more painful than the shading and colouring but after a couple of minutes I zone out. It took about an hour and I'm really happy with it and it was exactly what I was wanting. Before he finished he asked me to take a look and see if I wanted any yellow in there as he thought it would add something so I agreed and went ahead. I'm glad I did because it just gives it a little bit more colour and brightness. Absolutely love it!

Do you have any tattoos or any you're planning to get?

H&M Coat
Topshop Shirt (bought from charity shop)
Topshop Jamie Jeans
Primark Shoes
(Necklace was a gift)
Thomas Sabo Charm Bracelet
Breo Watch
Primark Midi Ring (from set of 5)

Yesterday my mum decided she wanted to quickly nip into a charity shop that was next door to where we were heading. Whilst we were in there I thought I'd have a browse and spotted this pink and white striped shirt in my size. I really liked it and was thrilled to find it was originally from Topshop, best of all it was only £1! Its a bit long at the front, then splits at the sides and then goes long again at the back. I found it looked best tucked into jeans and I decided to pair it with these loafers although that was a mistake as because they were new, after walking around town for a bit my feet began to get blisters! All in all I really like this outfit.

*I do not intend to brag I just thought it would be nice to show the things I received on my birthday*

This year on the 14th February, I celebrated my 20th birthday. I had a really nice day and was quite spoilt! I love everything I got and am very happy & grateful.
The GHD's, Remington Wand, NYX products & the cushion are all from Very, the Katy Perry perfume and Real Techniques brushes are from Superdrug and the jeans are the 'Jamie' jeans from Topshop. I did purchase the bag and pyjamas myself from Primark with some birthday money. The pyjamas I just find so cool!
I also have a tattoo which I'm going for next week and I'm very excited/nervous as you always forget about the pain until it comes to it.

Hope you liked seeing what I got for my birthday!

Shoe Lust

Shoe Lust

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

Ever since last year, I've wanted a pair of jelly shoes, these ones are from ASOS. Although they aren't great for this time of year they are perfect for Spring/Summer, whether you wear them on their own or with a cute pair of socks and the same with the gladiator heeled sandals which are from Mr Shoes but I think you can get them from some other stores too.
The Topshop boots are AMAZING, they also come in black but what drew me to these is the oil slick effect they have, I love it.
I've never been one for shoes with straps around the ankle but I do have to make an exception when it comes to these ASOS heeled sandals. So many people are wearing these and what makes me love them is that they can be worn smart or casual and they seem to do wonders for your legs. I'm not too sure on how comfortable they would be but I think it would be a price to pay for such lovely heels.

What shoes are you lusting after? Do you like any of the above?

Bracelet - Thomas Sabo
Watch - Breo
Blazers - Urban Outfitters
Nail Polish - Rimmel 60 Seconds 'Little Bo Peep'

 Harrington Jacket - eBay

Jeans - H&M
Brogues - New Look

Today I got my first ever pair of Topshop jeans which I'm very pleased about. I've wanted a pair of Topshop jeans for so long and originally I was planning on getting the Mom jeans but when looking at them I didn't think I'd really suit them so I went for the Jamie jeans which is an early birthday present from my boyfriend. I had no idea what I wanted for my birthday and they were the only thing I could think of so he just got them while I was there so I could try them on and make sure I like them. I think eventually I'm going to go back and get the Joni jeans because I really liked them too.
I also got myself a couple tops from Primark, one of which I spotted in the sale which has a nice geometric print and pleather panels, which I thought would be good for smart casual wear, with jeans and a pair of heels if I was just going out for drinks or dinner. Then not in the sale was a really soft quilted pale blue top which is perfect for the upcoming Spring/Summer.
Before I headed back home I had to nip into Lush as I'd seen on Instagram somebody posted a picture of a bath bomb with little hearts that came out in the bath and I had to have it. Seeming as though it's my birthday on Valentines day also I thought it would be perfect to use before going out or maybe just to use in the week. Of course I couldn't leave town without a Starbucks Chai Tea Latte also.

Mac 'Up The Amp' Review & Swatches

(excuse my horrible bare face)

I lusted after this lipstick probably for about a year and last month I decided to just go ahead and purchase it. It's the most gorgeous violet colour with pinky blue undertones that will suit all skin tones. It is an amplified creme so it is quite moisturising and doesn't dry out your lips but also doesn't bleed. The lasting power of the lipstick is really good, I wore it all day, eating and drinking in between and it hardly wore off. I love that Mac lipsticks smell quite vanilla like and don't have that typical plasticy lipstick smell.
I think the only bad thing to say about this is that they are a bit pricey at £15 but I'm willing to pay that price for a lovely lipstick such as this. I will definitely be wearing this all year round as I think it's one of those colours thats multi-seasonal.

OOTD & Mini Haul

Top, Jeans & Bag - Primark
Coat - H&M
Boots - New Look

First we stopped off to get lunch and I had my first Mcdonalds in a month, which is saying something for me, then wandered around a few shops. Of course it kept pouring it down throughout the day so my hair got soaked!
To warm up we thought we best get a Starbucks as it's pretty much a must. I'm really liking Chai Tea Lattes now and this time I got it with soy milk and for some reason I think I prefer it! Also I have to say I love love LOVE my new phone case which I found on eBay. I've become really obsessed with French Bulldogs so I have to have anything I see with one on.

First stop in town was CEX which sells second hand DVDs and games ect. and I picked up The Pursuit of Happyness. I love this film and have been wanting to watch it these past couple days so I thought why not just get it because it was only £2.
Next was Waterstones as I'd just finished one of my Darren Shan books and had spotted Paper Towns online when I was looking for something new to read. I've already read The Fault In Our Stars by John Green and I loved it so much, I can't wait for the film! Whilst I was in there I also saw the notebook which says 'Even my ideas are recycled' and I thought it would be cool to get as a notebook to carry around with me and to write ideas in of course.
I've never been in Paperchase before so when I went past I decided to have a look. I spotted this really cute florally Journal which was £6 and I've been wanting a Journal for a couple of weeks.
Originally I went into New Look to look for some slippers as their ones are usually really comfy and cute. As soon as I walked in I spotted this amazing holographic clutch bag sitting on the Sale shelves. I grabbed it immediately as I've been looking for one for a month to go with a dress I have for my birthday, which is only another week away! It didn't have a sale sticker on it but I still took it to the till and it was only £3 which is a total bargain! I was so pleased.
