I love Spring Summer fashion, all the florals and pastel colours. These are my six must haves for this time of year.

Pastel Leather Jackets: I am so desperate to get my hands on one of these. I'm in need of a jacket for when it's not too hot to go without but its not too cold for a thick coat. I've fallen madly in love with pastel coats/jackets and have spotted people buying this pink one from Primark for £25. I'm pretty sure they also have it in white. I've not been successful in finding it yet in my Primark but I'm hoping I do soon.

Simple Boyfriend Tee: You can't really go wrong with boyfriend tees. You can get them in a range of colours and they are so easy to wear, just throw them on with jeans, shorts or tucked into a skirt , add some accessories if you wish and you're good to go. Definitely something simple that everybody needs.

Floral Mesh Shirts: I've recently purchased a floral lavender mesh t-shirt as when I saw it I had to have it. They look really nice with different coloured vest tops underneath or maybe even just a bandeau.

Skort: I'm sure everybody has seen these around now but if you haven't it's basically shorts with a wrap around the front which looks as if it's a skirt. You can wear these casual or dressed up which I like and if your'e not much of a skirt person like me they are fab.

Floral Accessories: I've been seeing a lot of floral earrings and statement floral necklaces and I wasn't really sure at first as I don't really wear that many accessories but I can see myself getting into them. I would love to get myself a lovely pair of earrings and a colourful flowery necklace.

Jelly Shoes: I have been wanting jelly shoes since last S/S now and this year I just need to have some in my life. I love that you can wear them alone or with pretty socks. They are a bit of a hit and miss with some people but I personally really like them. I used to wear them non stop when I was younger! They also come in a range of prices. I've seen them from £4 in Primark to £20 in Office and on Asos.

My boyfriend Ben and I have been wanting to go to this place for a while now but never got round to it until now. It's an american style fast food restaurant in Edinburgh that does burgers (obviously), hot dogs and also has veggie options. They also do shakes which sound amazing and floats. The prices are really good also as you can get a filling meal with refillable drinks for the same price as you would pay for say a McDonalds.

Ben went for the bacon cheeseburger with cheese fries which I knew he would, he's so predictable when it comes to food. It took me a bit to decide between a chicken burger or a hot dog but I went with the hot dog, just because it looked so good, with cajun fries. I do plan to go back and try a chicken burger in the near future.

I quite enjoyed it and I'm definitely going to go back again to try a burger!

Top - Primark
Jeans - Topshop
Sandals - New Look
Sunglasses - eBay

The weather has been so nice recently and I hope it stays like this for the rest of Spring/Summer but knowing the UK it will most likely lash it down with rain in a couple of days.
It's been a really nice easter weekend, the sun has been out and for the first time in ages I got to sit in the gardens on Saturday with an ice cream! and was so glad I didn't have to wear a coat out, even with a hoodie on it was too warm.
Today has just been a chilled Sunday watching films as is usual for me on a weekend. I'm just waiting for my Sunday dinner and then I'm going to stuff my face with chocolate but there's nothing new there.
Tomorrow my boyfriend has the day off work, so instead of going on a weekend when it will most likely be packed, we are going to the cinema to see The Amazing Spider Man 2 in 3D which I'm very excited about as I loved the first one and the trailers for it look amazing.

Hope you're all having a fab easter weekend!

I was in the mood to bake so searched for some healthy baking ideas and came across these cookies. I had all the ingredients in already that are used in the recipe so that was handy. You have to bare in mind that you have to leave the mixture in the fridge for 8 hours or overnight. It's meant to make 36 little biscuits but as I was too impatient to do more than one batch I just made big ones! So they would be a low 75 calories each but obviously will be more if you double the amount you put together for one cookie.

  • Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (about 3 1/3 ounces)
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour (about 3 1/2 ounces)
  • 3/4 cup regular oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate minichips
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 5 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • large egg
  • large egg white

Lightly spoon flours into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flours, oats, baking powder, and the next 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Combine sugar and butter in a large bowl; beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add honey, vanilla, egg, and egg white; beat well. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture; beat at low speed until well blended. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 180°.
Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Bake at 180° for 10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on the tray. Remove from tray and cool completely on wire racks.

Hope you enjoy them!

Micellar cleansing waters have been on the market for a while now with Bioderma being the most popular. I'm not sure of the exact science behind micellar waters but they are a soap-free product which is designed to remove make-up effectively without irritating the skin and with no need to rinse off.

I was in need of a new make up remover as my Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanse & Polish had ran out. As I always do when I'm need of something new, I looked online to see what was in the drugstores that was worth having a try as spending almost £14 each time isn't always the best.
I came across the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and as I've tried the Bioderma before it seemed like a good way to go. I really like the packaging as it's simple and cute, it's £4.99 which is such a bargain considering you get 400ml of product and is alcohol and fragrance free. It claims that you will get 200 uses from it, taking into account that you use 2ml on a cotton pad each time. I use around 4-5 cotton pads a time as removing eye make up is a bit tricky so I try to leave the cotton pad on for a little bit to avoid rubbing my eyes, I wouldn't recommend it for removing waterproof mascara/eyeliner. I like that it doesn't sting my eyes like other make-up removers can. After I've used it my skin does feel quite soft and it doesn't seem to dry my skin out too much.
I wouldn't use this alone to remove all make-up, I do go in with a face wash to make sure I've got rid of all leftover traces.

Overall I think this is pretty good at removing make-up and would recommend it for the price you pay.

H&M Coat
River Island T-Shirt
Topshop Jamie Jeans
Navy Converse

First of all I apologise for the lack of posts recently, I've been very busy! I went to visit family down in England for a few days and then a couple days after I got home we drove down again as my mum wanted to go visit too! I also had a hair disaster which involved bleach which why my hair is now lighter but I'm happy it's all good now. I'm glad to be back home and can hopefully get back into the swing of things.

It was a typical Saturday for me, going around shops and stopping for a quick Starbucks. I went into MAC to see if they had the limited edition 'MAC By Request' lipsticks as I wanted to see and swatch them in person but they hadn't which resulted in me ordering it yesterday night after much debate. As you can see I did find something in Primark that I wanted which was just a plain white baseball t-shirt with black sleeves (not sure why I was given such a big bag haha).

As I'd done a bit of travelling and not had much sleep whilst I was there, I just wanted to keep my outfit casual and what better way than a pair of jeans and converse.
