WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING & MINI BOOK HAUL

I have recently found the time to get back into reading again. It is my favourite way to unwind especially before bed as it helps me to relax. I have gone back to a book I didn't finish and also started a new one, buying a couple more along the way.

New In
The first new book I purchased was Everything, Everything after seeing it in a Zoella Book Club section in WHSmith. The beautiful cover caught my attention so of course I picked it up. The blurb tells us that this book is about the crazy risks we take for love, with a boy named Olly being determined to find a way to reach his next door neighbour and main character Maddy, who hasn't left her house in seventeen years.

The second book is called Eden Summer which I came across whilst wasting some time in Waterstones. This cover also drew my attention and after seeing the word thriller I had to pick it up and see what it was about. This book tells of how Jess turns up for school to find out her best friend Eden has gone missing. She tries to retrace their steps, looking back over the summer they spent together. It sounds very interesting and I can't wait to start reading this one!

Currently Reading

I went back to Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children after years of leaving it half finished. The main reason was because of the upcoming film that is released very soon. I would really like to go and see it but I just couldn't without finishing the book first so I have to get onto it! I love that there are various photographs throughout which show the peculiar children who live in an abandoned orphanage in Wales, which Jacob, the main character, decides to visit after hearing his late grandfathers stories.

I have only recently started reading Am I Normal Yet? but I am very much enjoying it so far. It tells the story of a girl named Evie who is currently on medication for OCD trying to lead a 'normal' life such as going to college, parties and having a boyfriend.

Have you read any of these books? Let me know what you thought!
